Our Mission
In September of 1981, the Lord supernaturally spoke to Gerald and Becky Watson and said, "Will you go to Chicago for me?" Immediately they knelt by their bed and prayed the prayer of consecration to be obedient to the Lord.
In January of 1982 they moved from Tulsa to Chicago and began fulfilling this call of God on their lives. They started the church on January 31 and as directed by the Lord, started in the downtown area of Chicago.
All that we do here at Victory Ministries Church is based upon the fact that we believe that all Scripture is divinely inspired of God and we hold to these Scriptures as our order of living.
Our vision is basically three-fold:

Victory Ministries Church is a family church. We believe in ministering the Word and the life of God to each member of the family, from infants to adults. Our goal is that we all be unified in the love of God and that each of us reach spiritual maturity in Christ Jesus, our Lord.

Victory Ministries Church is a Charismatic Teaching Center. We are a church that believes in receiving teaching from the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teachers that the Lord has placed in the Body of Christ for our building up. We bring men and women of God in on a regular basis to feed us God's Word from their area of expertise.

Finally, we are a World Outreach Center. We have a vision for the world. We see ourselves as a church helping God in carrying His great Salvation message throughout the nations. That message is simply this: that God loves them and has forgiven them of all their sins through Jesus Christ, His Son, who imparts eternal life to all those who believe and who is coming back for them soon.
